Where is best to buy sidi's from online?

Also, which are waterproof, as i cant seem to find any info which mentions them being waterproof?

I fancy a pair of these: https://www.getgeared.co.uk/acatalog/SIDI_B-2_Motorcycle_Boots.html

But i cant find them anywhere else Confused Also, the actual sidi website doesnt mention them being waterproof, but 'getgeared' says they are. Should i trust them?

Ive got a pair of sidi vertibra corsas. I'd say there more water resistant than water proof. Unless your riding in extreme rain there fine.

If your riding in heavy rain, get some waterproofs that go over the boots - more protection that way.

Not sure where you could get them online to be honest. I know the bike show is coming up, so that would be a good place to get them from as i had mine from there last year and i think they were about £25 cheaper than the shops. But if your not going then im sure someone else will come up with somewhere for you !!

They are race boots hence aren't waterproof.

Be aware that Italian boots can often be sized on the small size so buying online isn't always wise. Personally I'd much prefer to try them on before parting with any cash. They need to fit perfectly to offer any protection.

I bought my Sidi Vertigo's at the NEC last year for £120. I think at the time they were around £160 so a pretty good saving.

No Sidis are waterproof. The race boots will leak fairly quickly, the black rains will keep the damp out a little longer but they aren't waterproof.
have you considered a pair of Altbergs? there's a very good reason why most couriers and motorcycle police wear them, they're comfortable for riding and walking all day long, totally waterproof, and have a lifetime guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship. When you wear them out they'll re-sole them for £30 or completely refurbish them for around £40.

My feet have never got wet, wearing Black Rain Evo's they have got damp from sweat tho..

that being said, I have used nikwax on them too, which doesn't seem to damage the Lorica at all, and helps water resistance. The water beads and runs off before it gets a chance to soak in.
