What are everybodies thoughts on sidecars and racing associated with them?
My friend and I were thinking of starting sidecar racing at Jurby airfield on the IoM.....

Fantastic to watch, big respect to you for choosing an outfit.
My brother was a chair passenger in a classic IOM race a few years back, he was on a Norton combi and said that his solo racing was worlds apart from this game.

It's good fun, though you need to be pretty fit to be a passenger!
I tried it out with the club I race with, click the pic for the thread, which has more details:

Not sure if I'd just go out and buy a sidecar to do it, but then there's no other real way to get into it as a driver if you aren't friendly with other people that do it. |

Was a sidecar passenger in my younger days. Rode a GT750 Suzuki powered outfit. Brilliant.
Would do it again tomorrow with no hesitation. ____________________ GSXR600K4 Blue - fastest colour. No mods as yet. Happy with standard bike.

as long as you both trust each others abilities, and you're both as crazy as coconuts, then its wicked fun, the rider has to try and forget every thing he knows about cornering on a motorcycle and learn again with the side car, its difficult, but worth it ____________________ the humans are dead
