Judging by the amount that was going about at a rave I was at the other week, you must just be in the wrong part of the country.

I'm not talking council estate soap bar either. I hadn't seen proper sticky black or chara for years. Cool

Hopefully natural selection will kick in. Let's hope they don't take anyone else out at the same time though.

What about riding while tired? Or riding while you've got relationship troubles (or even just thinking about your other half you're falling love with) on your mind?

All of these can be a lot more dangerous than riding stoned.

Infact, it's been shown that people that smoke cannabis are safer road users when slightly stoned (obviously not someone that's never taken it before).

Having ridden stoned in the past*, I can say that I tended to be generally more cautious and more observing of speed limits when stoned.
I don't now, well have used a motorvehcile on the roads twice in the last five years after having smoked - in both times not very much and only because it was an emergency.

I'm glad I don't have to share the roads with all the rather narrow sighted bikers in (where you live) Wink Razz.

Having been stoned myself in thepast i have not got on a motorcycle stoned and rode it. I havnt even got on while i was tired even incase i lost concentration and lost control. I just dont agree with it but i suppose everyone is differant and handles it differantly. If you think it makes you safer G and are able to ride ok then fair enough.

The planet where you only make sweeping and seeminglyu contravertial statements that you can back up.

G is referring to a large study carried out by the American DOT where they put drivers through a course of cones and tight turns while straight, and after varying quantities of alcohol and drugs.

This was done with the object in mind of setting the legal driving limits for certain chemicals in the blood.

Much to their embarrasment, the governments own study showed that after smoking a moderate amount of cannabis, drivers made significantly fewer errors. The conclusion was that although THC impairs your reactions, you remain aware that you are impaired and compensate for it by driving more cautiously.
