no main lights?

hiya all, just fitted my new battery and found out that i now have no headlight full or dipped beam or rear light the indys work fine and so do the brake lights as well as the horn all the dash lights are on etc just the headlight, parking light and rear light. anybody have any good ideas?
i have soaked all the wiring on wd40 2 see if water got anywere it shouldn't and as far as i remember the last time i tired the lights they worked, just very dull as old battery was dead. all i know is it aint a fuse as my bike only has 1 and thats the main one off the battery. Looking at the wireing diagrams dont show me anything that i can see 3 cause a problem.

What bike?

I have 1 main, then a little fuse box with around 6 other fuses in for lights etc.

Lights on the DT dont run off the battery, they run direct off AC feed from Stator.... was the bike running when you checked the lights?? If it was check the stator wiring plugs for corrosion.

looking at the wiring diagrams that does make more sence, and no it wasnt running but i am sure that they have worked without the engine running before, but that could be a mistake.
