go easy? ,the mould compound comes off after about 50 yards, its just to cover their own arses , me after my BT45s got warm after 10 miles home I thought lets scrub them in and gave it some welly , such that my chicken strips are only 6mm on each side.

Took me the time to go to Sainsburys and back. Which is circa 5 miles! Smile

If its pissing it down pretend you've got a new born baby balanced on youre head (at least until you've got em scrubbed in).

If you're lucky it will be dry and you'll be able to go for a blast, just be extra careful around those normal danger areas.

just do what your normally do, but dont be a hero. You'll be fine.

If you've got spanking new tyres and its chucking it down, take the bus.

If you know what you're doing and know what to expect, and are comfortable in taking the risk, go for it.

If you're not, and you want to come home, take the bus.

Just ask yourself, is it worth wrecking yer whole bike for the sake of tanking into a corner on new tyres in the wet?

But to be honest i didn't like it one little bit. The wind kept blowing what felt like under my bike and i could feel the front slipping, was so glad to get home! So my friends coming over to scrub them in for me Laughing
