Best paint for repainting caliper logos

Hi folks,

I'm polishing up the Brembo four-pots on my bike, and the Brembo logo on the sides is a bit lost - I'd like to paint it red, as per tradition. What kind of paint should I use to repaint the lettering/logo? Humbrol Enamel (modelling paint) do the trick?

The rest of the caliper will just be polished metal.

Yup, a little pot of humbrol and a mightly fine modelling brush is the common way of doing it.

Oh, and you'll need a steady hand

Out of interest how did you manage to polish all the intricate nooks and crannies on a brake caliper?

Remember, calipers get very hot.

You can buy specific caliper paint, usually sold to boy racers.

Cillit, I just used a bench grinder fitted with various grades of 8" polishing mop, and just forced the caliper into the mops hard. The mops deformed and filled all the nooks quite easily.

I used Revell for my Nissins, though I doubt there'd be any difference between that and Humbrol.
