Hi,

I have bought an Rs125 that need the engine rebuilding, can anyone point me/ provide me with a workshop manual or answer the following questions.

1) What are the std sproket sizes
2) what should the std jets be in the carb (so i can check them)
3) Where should hte ignition be set to (how much before TDC etc)
4) What should the squish be? (looking for reliable road use not GP lap record)

P.S. it is a 2000 RS125 Extrema if that effect the settings.

cheers matt

cheers, that is for the manual, which i have already, but thatnk you for trying. I was actually looking ofr more of a manual that has blowup diagrams etc, and how to do repairs etc, more like a haynes manual. people on the 125 sections have posted likes to them, but the link that goes something like gtagamers/links etc is dead, think the file has been removed.

I have managed now to get so diagrams of the parts going together, now i will have to try and make sure i put the parts together with the rest right. I should be ok, just nice to have a backup infront of you.

sorry they didnt help, just sold all our rs125's with the manuals you were looking for.

As for rebuilds ask the guys on the forum should be able to give you the best person who done their's,and closest to you.
we done our own rebuilds, really quite easy(so i am told by hubby and son who's 14) so i will take there word for it.

just ask any questions on the aprilia site they will help you.

I will ask, cheers.

If it was just the top end that needed a rebuild, I would be there already, but the Big end is nackered and the barrel badly scored, so i think it might be better to give it to a proffessional who can ensure every last piece of shrapnel is removed Laughing Wink
