I want to get parts for my gixxer, does anyone ever buy from american based sites and have them shipped over. Do you get hit with tax? if so how much tax.

Is there a way you can have it shipped from them as a gift because my mate said you dont get taxed on that Confused

any help appreciated

cheers

Unfortunately you still have to pay duty and VAT if it's a gift but you have a greater allowance. For gifts that is £36 so if the part is less than that you should pay no duty or VAT. For merchandise the value has to be under £18.
