Anyone got an S500 Air helmet?

I need a new helmet asap, on a bit of a budget.. The only riding I do is stunt riding so I rarely go over 50 mph and don't really have too much to hit my head on other than the floor so can't really justify an expensive Arai Laughing The Shark looks pretty nice, I'm thinking of the Air Muggeridge model like this:

does anyone have this model or the S500 Air and can tel me what its like??

Also if anyone has the above model any chance of posting some better quality pics from various sides?? cant find any pics on the net and want to see it properly before buying.

Half price promo at where?

how much did it cost you?

J&S have the Air Muggeridge model for £119 inc. VAT. is that good or can it be got cheaper? I need to be able to try it on somewhere and I feel guilty going to J&S to try it on then buying elsewhere Laughing so would rather go to the shop wwith the best price and try it on/buy it there Wink

I highly recommend this lid sparks, this lid kept my pretty girlfriend's face in tact while mine got mashed from my big accident last year.

The UK distributor changed at the start of the year so the existing stock of helmets were being sold at half price. I got mine at Alvins of Edinburgh in April/May time.

Just been looking around and it seems the Muggeridge is a 2006 model so no deals there.

I have the S600 air in plain silver. it's just a spare for a piliion now as its a bit over size.

will be good for what you are intending. crap at high speeds, too noisy. tho that could be because it is oversize.

i paid £20 for mine as my mate was managing the shop.

you should find one for £50 if you look about enough.

Nothing wrong with Shark lids at all mate, in fact, i highly reccomend them.

They are the only manufacturer bar Arai to give a full 5 year warrantly with their lids.

Excellent quality, excellent ventilation and excellent visors. Those visors are 3mil thick, strong enough to be bent flat without breaking or straining.

I did this to my bike

This to the car
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v420/Stealthdog/Crash6.jpg

And prompty flew 20 odd foot and landed on my face.
No head injury bar a bust lip from my wonky teeth.

...bought a rsf2 just recently from motorcycle world in Birmingham, have to say that of all i tried this was the most comfy and on offer at Half price, i think it cost £90, which is very very cheap for a wicked helmet. They could have had other models and do mail order, check them out

cheers

ps. The visor removal system is brill, its a single button affair which takes about two seconds to pop off each side. Its almost as good as my Shoei Raid II. Mr. Green

The shape/style looks really nice and the spec seems brilliant, like the visor change too ! the ones on my FM and OGK are feckin shite!

Think I'll be paying a visit to J&S this week Wink £120 seems a good price for an 06 helmet that seems highly rated, so I'll prob just go with that Cool well, as long as it fits well anyway that's the important thing.
