Guy pushing the delivery trolley, which was clearly too heavy for just him, knocked into it as he couldn't see around it either, knocked bike over.

Pissed off majorly, Manager is ringing me up tomorrow so will talk to her and get things sorted. Should be simple but when is anything ever simple. Will battle it all the way though.

I take it that's an aftermarket paint job too...? If so you will need to explain that AND the cost of a new panel to them.

Is your bike on Ebay now perchance? Theres one that looks exactly like it. I think McD's should be able to sort you out with full compensation if you provide all the receipts of work etc. Still sucks, take em for all you can.

Wait for the manager to spout the immortal words "well there is a sign up stating all vehicles are parked at the owners risk". Don't let him get you on that one, stand your ground. Thumbs Up

He shouldnt have to pay for the incompetance of McDonalds trolley pushing staff. Get them to pay for everything that you can think of, they have more than enough money for it.

Good point really, maybe it was drive through?

That said, back in the day when I had a Mcjob, they still preferred to make you pull those things over the furthest distance possible!

the trollies are also used to bus about rubbish, the trays that the buns are in (without the buns), empty cardboard boxes, all the stuff that needs to go the coralle (basically a big shed with bins in it), probably what the guy was moving about.

Is that parked on the pavement?

If so, get some answers ready for the "you shouldn't have parked it on the pavement, it should be parked in the road" comment that you will no doubt get.
