Hello,
sorry, this is a bit of dummy question. I have suzuki fr50, almost identical to a Honda c50. i had an issue where my front brake was over camming. I had the shoes replaced and considering they were new they werent all that sharp. I should of returned and said something but hey. Now this replacement was about april. i noticed recently my front brake is pretty shit tbh. Now could it be that my shoes are wearing down again or am i able to tighten the brakes in some way?
Thanks
Liam

You might also find that the surface of the pad material has become glazed. Happens sometimes, just rough them up a bit with some sandpaper.

The new pads can take a while to bed-in to the shape of the drum properly too. As I remember, sanding some of the material off the trailing edge of the pads can speed things up a bit.
