last time i saw it the 125s were faster than the 400s
and they are definitely faster around a track
and they bear no relation to an rs125 road bike, they are honda rs125 gp bikes

i thought it was ultra light 2stroke 125's and 4 stroke 400's so a bit biased towards the 125's but should even out over the lap.
these are not road bikes!

calm down Smile
i wasnt slagging your rs125 or anything!
you seem to be confused as to why the 400s and 125s are together, so i tried to explain it by telling you the 125s are not like the road bikes, where the 400s are road bikes tuned
the 125gp bikes lap pretty much any track faster than 400s

but the 125 will be tuned and also the 400 will be tuned as there both race bikes. Thats why i dont get how they put them both together every 400 came infront of the 125's

The RS125 gp bikes are producing up to 50 hp, and weigh about as much as a tupperware container filled with helium, the 400s may be producing something like 70 horsepower at the extreme end of the scale, but will also weighs upwards of 50 kilos more. A well ridden RS125 will lap somewhere like donington far quicker than a well ridden Fireblade.

As for the result, it may be that the track simply suits the slightly higher top end of the 400s, go somewhere else and you may find the result is reversed.

Close enough to be on track at the same time. The 400s are not race bikes, just fettled road bikes.

All the best
