I think I've just had my 'most stupid motorist' moment in many years. I commute into London and I'm used to people talking on phones, texting, blackberrying etc.
This morning however, doing about 30mph, I was nearly taken out as a guy in a BMW veered into my lane as I was overtaking. The reason? He was doing up his tie with both hands. When I indicated that I thought it was a slightly stupid thing to do considering he wasn't holding the steering wheel and was also doing about 30mph I was told that I should go away and procreate with myself.

Sometimes you just can't even be bothered to get angry, I was aware that he had started moving over and luckily there was nothing coming the other way, so in the spirit of Karma I just let it go....

....oh yes, it's the silly season again. I've noticed that a lot of people are being totally blind to the world outside their glass cages, particularly the white lines in the roads, other road users etc..it just means that as well as being more vigilant, you just have to ride a bit slower.

I think I'd find it hard 'not' to do that if I ever got into this kind of situation. Evil or Very Mad

Having been arrested for road rage in the past I try very hard not to get drawn into a mirror booting situation. As I said I was overtaking sensibly with nothing on the other side of the road so it was too close. Driving in London you are ALWAYS ready for something unexpected.
