OK Guys,

So I took my bike out on Sunday, opened it up for the first time loved and with so many nods that I recieved from the fellow bikers that were out made me feel real confident Very Happy

However, there is alway one (well in my situation 3).

Rant 1 Evil or Very Mad
On the way back from Newmarket heading to Cambridge (not the A14 way) I'm heading down an open road, looking ahead I see a junction so I slightly move to the middle of the road to get a better view and sure enough I see a car. Is he slowing down, no his more interested in chatting to his bird, so I begin to drop speed. I'm looking at him, his still chatting and driving out without looking. Now here's me, beams on, black and yellow leathers as conspicus as they come you would think that a blind man could see me, does he NO. He pulls out, forcing me on to the opposit side of the road; I cover my breaks just in time, he finally see me and hits his breaks and I miss him by a whisper and he just drives off Evil or Very Mad

Confidence goes out the back end as the 'what ifs' play hell with my mind.

Anyway I know that I must ride asap so I decide to ride this morning.

Rant 2 Evil or Very Mad

Now I bought one of thoughs bike covers that are Blue with a Silver strip down the middle. The dye form the blue has left a stain on my yellow pillion seat Evil or Very Mad Now I cant see how this has happened as there was no rain last night and I covered it when the bike had cooled down. Called the company only to get 'this has never happened before.....I'll have to call you back' still waiting Evil or Very Mad

Rant 3 Evil or Very Mad

Jump on my bike and slowly begin build back my confidence, did I hell no, first of all I am stationary waiting to turn left onto a main road, the driver first tries to overtake me on the right at the junction
in order to turn left ! as there was only a small space I make my left turn and I am in front of the car stationary due to traffic. I check my mirrors (Obviously just to let him know that I no his there) two seconds later BANG I manage to stay upright turn around same car WOMAN DRIVER Evil or Very Mad ...... 'Sorry' lucky the only damage was L and Number plates...... and sore nuts Evil or Very Mad

Funnily enough Rant 2 is the one that would annoy me the most.

Welcome to the big wide world of biking.

Just remember, everyone else on the road is out to get you!

Let's not fanny about here - they're not out to "get you", they're out to kill you. Preferably in the stupidest way imaginable.
