Having today decided to check out my wiring due to alternator probs i discovered this tiny chick all oiled up stuck behind my sprocket plate cover....dead of course 
Then i realised itmust have been a baby blue tit, they were nesting in the garden bird box and it must have dropped out onto the bike which was right next to it. they fledged about 2 months ago, oil must have sort of presserved it a bit, it may have just found a hide hole until i went for a ride

Expexted dirty connections and possibly the rectifier is the cause. stripped it down today. updated on the worshop section. Thanks for your input
