ok so as told from before i have check the timing and the point gap evrything is in perfect condition new points and condensor

the bike still wont start it gets spark it gets gas . i dont know what could be doin this ?

i have even poured some fuel down the were the air filter should be and i have sprayed starter fluid were the airbox should be no luck ...
the bike gets compression, has a new spark plug, and i just put brand new oil (10-w40) and new gas (87 octane i cheap)

ANY IDEAS

the rectifier is still brojke still waiting for the new one to ship but i have been told a million times that it will work with out that since it is getting spark and fuel

Just check your timing is correct, the points should be opening just before the piston reaches the top of the bore on the compression stroke.

Check youve got a good spark, take the plug out, hold it with some rubber handled pliers about an inch from the engine, crank the engine, a good spark spark should jump about an inch.

Sounds like you are getting there, so the things you need to be sure about are;

Spark timing is correct.
Carb idle and choke settings are correct.
Compression is actually high enough.

Unfortunately, you'll need a manual and a compression guage to be 100% certain of these.

Alternanately, I'd suggest you try bump-starting the bike, and make sure you are starting off the choke (i.e. don't even touch the throttle when starting)

Crap old bikes, eh?

EDIT with regard to the timing - you must have used a mark on the flywheel somewhere. Was there only one such mark?

Sounds like you have the old Factory Fitted British Kite Mark Immobiliser on that beastie.

(OK Plagerized from some bike type mag)

You ARE overlooking something EXTREMELY BASIC.

I promise you.

Start from the begining.
