help deleted important files!

Hi

Was de-spamming my laptop yesturday by using AVG virus checker and Ad Aware and I have managed to delete some of the start up files...

When I switch my computer on all i get is my back ground picture, no icons, no task bar nothing! The only thing I am able to do is press CTRL ALT DEL to get the windows task manager running.

I think I should be able to do a 'system restore' and it should bring them back, howeer, i am having trouble finding it using the Windows Task manager! If someone would could tell me which file I need and where it is on the C: drive that would be Ace!

in TASK MANAGER click on FILE --> NEW TASK (Run) and type in %SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe and hit return.
