Hi All,

Just replacing one of the carb heater elements on a GSXR 600 SRAD as the visible end disintegrated.

The threads on the current ones are coated in a slightly sticky white stuff. The Suzuki workshop manual make no mention of using anything on the new elements.

What is it :

Thread lock ?
Thermal paste ?
Don't worry about it ?

Cheers
