My bikes a french import so untill i have enough money for an exhaust and new eletronics what would happen if i took the plate out where the carb is? what would it add? or is it pointless untill i derestrict the rest of it?

about your question it's essential to take the intake plate off and at the same time :
- replace the genuine reeds membranes by carbon models
- upjet your carb as main jet 138,slow jet 42 , power jet 65
- set throttle needle at the 2nd notch from the top
- fit a NGK BR9EIX or a denso IW27 (expensives but will save fuel)
- open your air box as shown in my file (3rd solution)
