I've just dropped bike off for a new wheel bearing and a new rear tyre. Its now just starting pxxxing it down.

Would you ride home on it? Or wait for a dry day to pick it up and get it rubbed in.

Its always this bloody time of year when I need tyres.

I've done about 7 on it which aint bad, there is a bit left, but its nearly at the markers and the bearings coming out. All one job and all.

Erm, would that be 'scrubbin' it in?

If so yes, I'd just take it pretty easy to start with, especially if it's a touring style tyre.
