I know sod all about mechanical things, Embarassed and I figured it's high time I started learning to do things for myself. Not wanting to arse up my lovely Hornet, I got hold of this cg-125, and bought myself some tools spanners, socket set and a torque wrench, and will attempt to get this bike back on the road, or at least running again, and hopefully learn a few things along the way.

The bike Saturday afternoon (my mate pushed it 2 miles to my house, and I filled him with beer for his trouble)

The front forks are badly pitted, and the back wheel is rusty as anything, and there is a hole in the tyre.

My "shed", built out of scrap wood, stuff stays suprisingly dry in there though.

It's warmer in the kitchen though.

Does it run?

Engine/Pipework seems to be in good external condition anyway.

Doesn't look to be too messy, have fun.

Don't believe what the Haynes manual says about reassembly either, as advised, take lots of photos as you strip the bike down.
