Currently downloading from torrents - so far haven't been impressed with this season - hope this episode is better .
I will post back with comments when i've watched it

 It was... strange. Aside from not rounding up Locke's back story at all, I'm also quite annoyed they didn't get down to the proper stuff with the polar bear. They said they would, hopefully there's more to come, even though what with the shark at the end of S2 with the Dharma logo on it's tail and the harness in Jack's cage, I have a reasonable idea of what's going on.
And the end was downright confusing; did Desmond see into the future, or what?  |

The unfortunate thing is, many people will stop watching it which may lead to TV companies dropping the show. This will either end up in 2 ways. The series stops and we never find out the answers as the episodes can't be funded or filmed. Or, the series simply become available to DVD only, so we'll have to buy (or download) the final series' as they will never be shown on TV.
I hope the show does continue, because as frustrating as it can be, it makes a change to reality TV, murder mysteries or drama's with a depressing outlook.

I totally disagree. I like it too, it's one of my favourite programmes, but I think it's a stupid and commercial route to go down to keep people asking questions and never answering them. It makes for unsatisfying, frustrating viewing. The only decent revelation in the last 15 episodes is the civility of The Others, which was an excellent revelation and was very well composed throughout the series.
It's also episodes like this one, where they go off on a tangent and don't accomplish anything to do with the major storyline that annoy me. We'll never know why the hatch blew them out into the forest, but they went straight into this stupid polar bear dragging Ecko off into the jungle, and Locke going back into his highly annoying state of what the island wants him to do. It's utter bullsh*t, and right now the only thing keeping me watching is pure curiosity, and the fact that we know Locke will rescue Jack, Kate and Sawyer, which should be a decent episode. Though they'll probably ruin it by stretching it into 4.  |
