Just over 3600 miles, at what intervals should the chain be replaced?
I tried lubing it and working it out for a good 20 mins but it refuses to budge. |

chain should be inspected and lubed every 600 miles up to 7500 miles. doesnt say when it shoud be replaced though.
the way i look at it is if there is plenty of adjustment left in the adjusters and the chain has been looked after then its got life in it. im sure someone else will post up to say if it should be changed or not. ____________________ duck my sick! |

Yea, as I said I`ll keep an eye on it for the next few weeks and if it doesnt decide to budge Ill get a new chain.
Possibly new sprockets as well.
Im actually surprised its only one link thats stiffend.
For the first 6 months I had the bike I didnt maintain it well at all, only in the past 5 have I been maintining it every weekend.
Still, thanks for the help. |
