little dirty piece of shit scum scally manbag-carrying french wankers.

Went to where i chain my bike this morning looking forward to my morning commute. But I try to start the bike and it wouldnt. Then I realised, the killswitch was on (so was the mainbeam) and the bike was in gear. Then I noticed tha the 'protected by smartwater' sticker had been ripped off the tank leaving a nasty sticky patch. Bastards.

I went to the petrol station to fill up on my way, still fuming, then when I opened the little metal flap that covers the filler cap lock, out falls the sticker, neatly folded into a square. BASTARDS.

It doesn't really matter, but its the principle...

Why? why bother? probably the UK plates. Takes a real hard bastard to fuck with someones bike when they're not there. Why am I surrounded by such low lifes? oh yeah, its france...

I would also be fuming had I found my bike like that; I'm very precious about my bike, and if anyone dare touch it, woe betide them...!

BUT! No major damage was done, it's still perfectly ridable and most importantly it was still there. I know it's irritating, but maybe you just need to chalk it down to experience?

yeah i know, you're right. There's a heavily modded R6 that parks close to my bike and he had his seat slashed recently, so I got off lightly. But thats why its so annoying, its just arseholes being arseholes.

Of course it's always possible that someone was just trying to help.....

Imagine if you would that a gust of wind blew the smartwater sticker off your bike onto the floor infront of a passer by. He/she picked it up and recognised it had come off a motorcycle. Looking round they see yours and noticed the sticker mark revealing your bike to have been the source. Out of sheer goodwill they are moved to try and return your property and so first try to stick it into the slot by the kill switch so you would notice it when you came back. Unfortunatly this idea fails so the highbeam the other side was tried. Again no joy so as a last option he/she puts the sticker down the petrol cap, and places the bike in gear so as to alert you in the morning to the fact someone has been near your bike trying to help........

Laughing Laughing

I understand what you are feeling Keen. I have had the same done to my bike. Was parked up overnight, when I came to it next day, the headlight switch was set to full and the main beam button was pressed on, also the bike had been put into gear.

That just made me go and buy a bike cover to stop this kind of thing from happening again. Now the bike is less noticeable to scum, and also it stops them from sitting on and messing with the bike. Thumbs Up

Hi, on a scale of one to ten (ten being incredibly insanely bored) roughly how bored are you to write that lengthy text, considering how pointless it was. Rolling Eyes

Now that bit's just stupid. Laughing

And you count yourself lucky they didn't just torch it instead. At the end of the day the Smartwater sticker is replacable if you really care, and there was no damage done.

It was a joke - notice the two laughing smilies at the end. PLEASE don't tell me you took it seriously Rolling Eyes ......you did didn't you ... LMAO Laughing

Also might I suggest you get a bigger monitor if you think that was a long post, so ditch that 15" CRT monitor if I were you - it was only 5 lines long!!

I can sympathise with you.

Bikes are like guitars are like girlfriends. (In order of decreasing importance Wink )

But remember, in life, shit happens. The important thing is that when bad things happen, just laugh to yourself and say: if this is my dose of bad luck for the month, then I've faired better than many.

Imagine if you had come of your bike coz some twit on a mobile phone wasn't looking where he was going!

A sticker in the petrol tank isn't so bad, if you catch my drift....

But yeh, they're bastards all the same!!! Mad

All I can say, they better not hope that I catch them damaging/toying with a fellow biker's wheels!!!

No I didnt take it seriously, the point I was making was that the ratio of hilarity to word count was not a good one.

IE the joke was a schitt one and not worthy of the relatively lengthy text Smile

Oh, and I have a 19 inch tft monitor thanks Smile
