If you decide to use them ensure several things , before you even let their mechanics touch your bike ensure they have the correct job sheet! , and the parts in stock , I had a nuclear disagreement this morning when last week booking it in I asked for Fork Seals AND
BUSHES , Sickpup makes it very clear bushes are to be changed when changing fork seals.

And i went to great lengths to inform them about bushes , at which 3 people booking it in all agreed bushes would be done also...(The young beardy guy , David and the gay mechanic who isn't ginger)

I booked it in , 50 minutes later I get called , bushes need doing mate.....

me WTF , I bloody well asked you for bushes you said yes , at which the old guy Alan tries to rip me off £200 to put my forks back together or not take my bike away at all and arguing at length and him trying to tell me £200 is a "nominal fee" , he calls around
to the bloke who booked me in , who isn't in , taking up an hour trying to contact him and he calls back and says oh I can't remember if I did order bushes or not.

At which he grudgingly spends the next 2 hours putting my forks back the way they were.

ie verry leaky such that I have to bag them to protect my front brake.

So ESB bolton , gets a thumbs down from me and I shall never use them again for anything on the flip side I've found a new mechanic , since my last hobbyist more than business man mechanic died.

And at a cost of £2.25 each for an NTV from David Silver there is no excuse not to change them.

On the payroll at silver's? Your plugging knows no bounds! Razz

MMC are the same in StHelens. Big flashy dealerships are a nono for servicing. I use them for lubes, cleaning products, maybe clothing sometimes, but never again will i take my bike to one.

Not even an account as trade don't get a discount. Fact is they are cheap and I like cheap so use them a lot.

Get a quote for the bushes from a main dealer and the price is a bit over double.
