ive taken my chain off to clean it properly, can i re-use the split link, or should i get a new one? it looks ok to me, but im not sure, and dont want to risk it if its not advisable. cheers Thumbs Up

Provided the split link still springs into place when you clip it onto the link then yes you can re-use it.
Just to clarify though, I wouldn't advise using the same split link on a new chain.......But you'd have to be a twat to do that!

In theory yes, in practice make sure it is one from the same manufacturer and even the same batch.

If you live in a magical world of fairies where parts like split links, o rings, and gaskets are magically obtainable easily without paying extra, or wasting time i'd say get a new one.
