Dont know if anyones read about this yet, but apparently the new average speed SPECS cameras that seems to be appearing all over the place have a design flaw in them where in most cases you can outwit them by changing lanes.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=410539&in_page_id=1770

now be responsible - dont use this as an excuse to go hurtling down the motorway at 140 mph Twisted Evil

but dont blame me if ya get a ticket Smile

Thinking With SPECS cameras being foward facing, they aren't much of a threat to bikes anyway. Razz

Hi

Not a design flaw, just that their home office approval only applies when working in pairs and they tend to put a pair on a single lane. Nothing to stop them putting one camera on one lane with the next camera on a neighbouring lane.

They are hardly rocket science and it should be easy to get them to work in networks.

All the best

Keith
