My first post

Hi,
as the title says this is my first post, so be gentle with me . I am 35 years old, have grown up around bikes and spent years as a pillion on my husbands bike. I have finally got the time and money to buy myself a bike and take my test so am doing the CBT this sunday and bought myself a '91 400 bandit. My plan is to do the theory before christmas and DAS just after christmas
So hello to everyone and if anyone has any tips either on the bike or the test they would be much appreciated.
Oh and does anyone know if a tank pad for a 600/1200 would fit my 400, I was thinking that the tanks are probably about the same size/shape.

Tank pads are generic unless specified otherwise.

I did my CBT last year (was loads of fun) & took my test in September.
I'm same age as you & likewise spent years riding pillion with hubby. Got me a Honda Steed 400 now

Thanks everyone, I will get the tank pad, there are already a couple of small scratches there so it will cover them up.
I'm looking forward to doing the CBT but am also scared of making a complete tit of myself I just hope the weather stays dry, I can cope with it being cold but dont fancy doing it in the pouring rain.

Same age as me too, also spent a little while as a pillion but got fed up with that! been riding over four yrs now and best thing I've done
