filtering foot crush

ah dear it always seems to happen to me
first the horn then the wing mirrors, filtering faux pas just keep on coming.

i was filtering up to some lights when i get stuck about 4 cars from the front, the lights where on abit of a bend so as i was level with the car on the left's rear passenger window, my foot was kind of under his car.
i put my left foot down and wait, the guy to my left starts to pull forward, i'm thinking to let me pass, i say "that's nice of hiAAAOOW!",

he's run over my foot
not all of it but the whole side and the little toe, it was more of a supprise than painful.

not his fault at all, and after realising that a large 4 door mercedes
hadn't actually crushed my foot i just laughed.

I had my foot run over when I was wearing trainers, only the toes luckily, Didnt hurt my foot at all which was kinda wierd.. It was one of them 4 door volvo things so not a small car at that..

Used to freak out my rents and sister by doing that.

Just (in toecaps) stick your foot under one of the wheels when they reverse. Always good for a laugh.

A mate of mine was sat at a set of traffic lights near the head of the queue at the right hand side of the traffic with his right foot down.
Next to him was a seperate lane for people turning right, controlled by its own set of lights that were on green.
A van turning right passed him and had a loose bumper/exhaust/something that was sticking out on its left hand side.
As the van passed him, whatever it was that was sticking out knocked his right leg out from under him and he slowly toppled over onto the floor.
Strangely, he didn't see the funny side of it.

I've noticed that cars running over my feet doesn't really hurt, or damage the foot... any explanation? are feet really just very strong?
