Me and new GF went down to Lewes (Sussex, nr Brighton) for the Lewes Bonfire and Fireworks. The parade & fireworks were spectacular, if you haven't been you really should.
Went down not using motorways via Guildford and Horsham. Much more interesting, stopped for lunch in a good pub.
Stayed over Saturday night and came back on Sunday, went exploring . Discovered some amazing roads, especially the road from the A271 through Wartling to A27 at Penvensey - surfaced like a racetrack, twisty and great views.
Went along the coast a bit to Worthing then headed home with an amazing sunset.
Don't pack the bike away just yet, there's still great riding to be had. Just pack a few jumpers
So, what did everyone else get up to? |

I went to Squires for a club meet, very nice day saturday, extra layer of clothing and all was well, most roads were nice and dry. Don't think my bike agreed though

Went down to Bognor yesterday. Brilliant ride and the new tall screen on the Dullsville worked a treat - 70mph with visor open - far less noise .
The low sun was a bit of a bugger and some of the roads were quite damp in the shadow of trees etc. Quite a fair bit of traffic on the A29 coming back though. |

Went up to mid wales around brecon beacons and somewhere called newtown yesterday with friends from swansea and cardiff was a good ride with fantastic roads, unfortunately one of the pack came off on a damp bend, but she was pretty much OK.
Not many nice sunny weekends left before spring me thinks ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

Went for a bit of a blast round North Kent. Only to discover a screw in my front tyre. Need to get it plugged now. ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |

Went down to the bike meet in shanklin, then went out for a good long ride as the bike was just hooked up, and seem to be picking the front up everywhere . I'm gonna miss it i think ____________________ Bikes: too many, too much for one man to maintain anyway. |

Friend had a ride over and we took both bikes with the kids down to the NEC show on Sunday.
Was cold but clear. One of those days when you're glad you just did it.

Did the NEC on Saturday. Left Manchester around 8am so was a bloody freezing ride down there. Was determined to wear my summer gear though ( i know i know ) so had about 5 layers on in total!
Not really a very adventurous ride there or back apart from finding out that the M6 toll road is smooth, empty and lacks any kind of police/cameras!
And also that its not funny to go the wrong way on the way home and start heading up the A42 towards the M1 realising i needed to turn around and retrace ma steps for 20 minutes as it got dark.
Was nice to have dry roads though.
