The eyes being half closed or looking down is meant to represent a wise and calm state, but it's the rest of the rupa's body which holds meaning. usually the size of the ears, the position of the hands and the physical figure of the Buddha rupa are the important things, and often vary, but the eyes always stay the same as you've noticed ____________________ "One moment can change a day, one day can change a life and one life can change the world."
