Shocked i says as i'm pulling away at the lights, no more than 2 inches from me a speeding bike flys past me, 2 up and it's a scooter,

"arsehole", i go to give chase only to find that in just keeping up with them i'm doing 45 in a 30 zone then he throws the bike left and around some cars then throws it right going between cars onto the opposite side of the road, (skill or blind fear?).

The lights ahead turn red and i think, right bastard i'll have some words for you.

Did he stop? did he f*!k. but it's how he went about running these reds that made me think that these two aren't for this world much longer,
he continues on the wrong side of the road and runs a crossroads at the best part of 40mph,
unfortunately, nothing was coming 'cos i would have loved to see them eat floor,
especially as they where both wearing trackies, t-shirts and no gloves.

i didn't bother pursuing them the minute i saw him chucking the scooter around traffic at 45, also the number plate was covered by a well placed L plate.

so i guess i may have been lucky not to have caught them up, after all they may have just been kids having a laugh, or they may have been some serious crims armed to the teeth, hard to tell when they're wearing lids. yes they bothered with helmets! Rolling Eyes

all i know is that they where getting away from something,
or that they were late for dinner Laughing

I'd probably agree but then I often see the same old scoots in the morning riding
who do this all the time , which is why I make a habit of never racing scooters
on the commute , a great deal of the riders are insane, They also love to ride
right up my arse with full beam head lights on and brakes SO incredibly worn
you can hear the metal scrapping on metal through ear plugs. betcha they'll
regret that when they see how much discs + calipers cost.

But I see lots of crap in my life , nearby Breightmet theres this woman who
takes her baby (yes a baby) on her minimoto and rides out on main roads
shes not be caught yet but me thinks thats insane.

And they are arseholes?

Did it hurt your pride so much to have another bike go past that you had to give chase? And exceed the speed limit by 50% in the process?

All in the aid of, exactly what? Hurt male pride? Rolling Eyes

I'd have just thought nob.

I've been over taken by learners and scooters, doesn't bother me, I'm not going to exceed the speed limit in 30s or 40s.
