I found this very helpful to do wheel alignment on my bike:
Part 1: Wheel alignment
https://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcnuts/chassis.html
Part 2: Checking if your bike's chassis is bent
https://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcnuts/chassis2.html
Part 3: How to fix your bike's chassis if it is bent
I tried without any luck to find part 3, the one that would have been the final part. Read on some site that a guy mailed the author, and his reply was that he had never finished the final part.
Does anyone know if there is a good DIY on how to fix a bent chassis? |

have you take it to a straighteners. They put it on a jig and push/pull it back into shape. That's if it is repairable. ____________________ My Flickr |

can be very risky trying to straighten an aluminium frame.. aluminium rapidly fatigues from plastic deformation, and can often snap after only 2 or 3 flexes..
Steel is much more resilient in that respect, and can be more easily bent back into shape.
