Does anyone know how to derestrict these without putting a bigbore kit in it? Confused I've got an exhaust and different gearing and I'm thinking about putting a 75 jet in the carb but other than that I'm stuck for ideas.

Thanks, GaZ

30-35mph but I know that the back brake is sticking a little bit so I'm hopefully going to sort that out tomorrow (along with a new number plate and brake lever from the last time I decked it Embarassed)

Probably to gain from the exhaust you do need to rejet. My TS50's were all restricted in the exhaust and in the carb. Also a bigger front sproket helps increase the top speed but slows down the acceleration.

A bike shop would probably derestrict the whole thing for £50 if you are unsure about taking it apart.

I've had 2 of them in the past and on both i couldn't find a restrictor anywhere. I've heard that they arn't restricted, maybe the newer models you can but the ones i had were the older ts50x models. My mate has got a H-reg ts50x and he has fitted a 80cc kit, race pipe and a bigger carb. His top speed is only about 45-50mph but his acceleration is pretty good.
