Well after riding my trusty gpz600r for the past 9 months since I passed my test I finally got myself a newer machine I know its not a rip roaring sports bike, but it feels a hell of a lot better than the old one

I noticed there is some moisture in the oil/crankcase, I am hoping this is just because its been stood since December. Just a little milky in the sight glass. I did an oil change, but didn't get all that out, but the oil looked fine. What's the best way to get rid of it, just give it a good long thrashing?

Yeah proper chuffed the gpz600r was alright for a first bike, but so outdated and rough.

There's only a bit of this crap in the oil, just hoping its not head gasket, but I doubt it is that. It doesn't seem to get hot as my gpz did, is this normal? The temp just goes up a little way where my gpz would go up halfway.

Perfectly normal, on long runs my needle would barely hit the bottom of the gauge. Great bikes.

Pretty much identical to mine, but probably better condition. I do miss it as it was always dead reliable and because it wasn't in great nick I was never worried about scratching it/cleaning it/fixing cosmetic stuff etc.

This is in really clean condition with only a few marks here and there. I was attracted by its unmolested condition, having only had heated grips fitted and stainless downpipes. Its done just over 30k s I assume its got plenty life left in it yet, just wish the brakes worked as well as my gpz600r ones did.

Oil sight glass a bit foggy... Check there is a O ring in the oil filler cap (if it was intended to have one)... Mines has disappeared and it's causing that to happen...

I think its just from cold air mixing with hot oil in your engine so you shouldn't worry, nice bike btw, I've always had a soft spot for the ZZRs.
