Hello everyone my name is Justin, im 26 years old and live in good old Lincolnshire.

About 8 years ago i bought my first ever on road bike which happened to be a honda ns125f and fell in love with it. Then came the time to sell it as i was learning to drive so it went.
A couple of weeks ago i decided to buy another bike and i had always wanted a rs 125 so i went out and bought one (found one cheap), I didnt have a cbt at the time or insurance so i could'nt test ride it, I took it to some private land and hated the ride to be honest i was gutted so i decided to sell the rs which has now gone. Then what bike come up on the market just 20 miles away but a honda ns125f! I went to look at the bike and was insured and now have a cbt so could take it for a quick ride, i was quite worried that i would'nt like it as much as i used to but my god i fell in love with it as soon as i sat on it!. it has 12 months mot and 12 months tax and paid £500 for it. All i want to do is get it back to its original condition looking for a original front head lamp fairing and i am going to respray the bike in the Rothman colours as thats the colours my old one was and think them colours look great. Sorry about the essay people just wanted to tell my story thanks for taking the time to read here are a few pics of my bike

Everyone starts somewhere, the bike looks nice, I dont know much about bikes but surely £500 for a bike thats got 12 months MOT isnt bad, as long as it has been looked after

Ride safe Smile

Trying to upload more pics of the bike but it keeps saying the size of the file is to big any ideas how to get them on here? Thanks in advance. took the bike out for a proper ride today about 20ish miles found a few problems, the clutch leaver was a tad slack and was not able to find neutral while bike was running so i tightened it up is that just a quick fix or do you recommend a new cable or could it be something else? Then when in high gears it really struggles to pick up at all and was having to drop down gears alot im not sure why and when changing from 1st to 2nd it struggles for about 2 seconds then it picks up well any ideas? plus wont go any faster than about 70-75mph does that mean it is restricted? as inside the end can there is a smaller metal tube would that be a restricter? thanks if anyone can help and thank you for the warm welcome! and yes slam will keep my eye out for you!

mine is exactly the same, when i bought the bike they said it was the nsf but when i got the log book it said ns 125 rk

the main differences that i have found is the fuel tank, oil tank and the clocks

the r has white clocks that look like this

https://i.ebayimg.com/t/Honda-NS-125-R-clocks-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$%28KGrHqRHJFcE-mNhuB9WBP2JCZ578Q~~60_35.JPG

the f has clocks that look like

https://i.ebayimg.com/t/Honda-NS125F-NS-125-F-NSF-clocks-dash-speedo-NEW-/00/s/NjAwWDgwMA==/$%28KGrHqJHJBYE7%29zGs+Y+BPGMLqHhK!~~60_35.JPG

as you see it has a low fuel light which transfers to having a sensor in the fuel tank that the r doesnt have

also the oil tank filler sticks out more on the r as the r should have a full fairing and thus needs more clearance

there are a few other changes too but these are the main distinguishable ones

this is mine

edit

also your belly pan is not the original nsf belly pan looks like a bodge on job off something else, i have aquired one for mine that i will fit soon
