Well as the title says Nearly could have ended badly so s little back story

the year is 1999 and i am a 17 year old with a job and que me wanting my own wheels to get around i got my first "bike" £200 lighter i had my self a Taxed and tested honda melody in red/orange (can you see where this is going yet)

Que yesterday and yes i parted up £60 of my hard earned pounds for this

picked it up this morning and low and behold ten minutes later i sold it for a small profit Thumbs Up bonus

also i still get to keep up the nostalgia trip, give a small project thread and get a new generation on the road on 2 wheels as i sold it to my 16 year old nephew,

thaughts, oppinions and lolz as always welcome more to come

So the TL/DR: The soppy nostalgic bastard in you made you buy a POS but the evil capitalist with buyer's remorse passed it onto some poor mug. Smile

Fuck off the top box, stick on some anodised bits, sports exhaust and some LED indicators. A remember the more stickers it has the faster it goes.

A Melody was the first bike I ever had a ride on when I was maybe ten years old. It was well nicked... as I recall it had a rolled up pair of socks intead of a petrol cap and one had to stop the engine running by poking a finger up the exhaust pipe... and when my dad found out I'd been riding it I got a slap round the lug 'ole Laughing

Is it mandatory to carry bits of gardening stuff in the basket with these bikes?

Oh, and OP, clean your shed, that's in a bloody awful state.
