Painting the brakes the same colour as the wheels will looks shit and I don't think orange will looks that good with those fairings either. I would put more money into sorting the suspension personally, a 20+year old bike will definitely need it. I would be interested to see the quality of the fairings I haven;t heard good things.

Tidy looking example.

Personally, I think the matt gold of the standard caliper would look okay on the Movistar.

Do look quite nice, how do they feel compared to the originals? Flimsy or similar?

Cheers

suprisingly they feel a hell of a lot tougher than original more stirdy and thick, tryin to think of something that would explain hmmmm.......
they feel quite like an original screen to be honest.

I was dreading what the plastic was going to be like i.e flimsy, but now i have them i am confident they will not crack or snap easily, feel like they will take quite a good beating Very Happy

I wonder if it would be worth giving them an extra clear coat or 2 to add to the protection. Look good though.

The vibe i get from these fairings are that they are good for the money but the paint can crack and flake in the long term. Have also heard that the more effort you put into fitting and adjusting them the better they look. Def interested in the result you get Thumbs Up .

That tank pad is awful though imho.

Which ever bit is poor quality, just contact the seller with pictures of the item. They'll most likely send a replacement part (may have to say you'll be leaving bad feedback) I got some Chinese fairings and one bit didnt fit at all, they happily sent a replacement for free and it fitted perfectly.

My fairings are fine, but make sure that you use plastic washers are most bolts as the paint is still very soft (literally painted and sent) so will flake when the bolts are tightened. apart from that my paintwork looks as good as new (only 8 months but thats 7 more than I expected Smile )

well i decided to put the fairings on today, because my fairing and screen bolts arrived Very Happy
took a few hours, was quite suprised the sid eand front fairings went on perfect no problems at all and line up perfect with no gaps,
Then the rear fairings now they were a pain in the a**e i managed to get the side fairings on and straight with not much touble, then the light sorround annoyed me a bit and had to have a brew and a think lol.
So after taking a couple of the tags off and bolting it all in place i got it kind of straight, still need a bit of tinkering will have it perfect by this weekend though while i spray the tank Very Happy.
