ok guys sorry if its in the wrong place didnt know where else to put this thread .

Have been asking friends and fellow bikers how much they thing i would get for my bike have been thinking about selling as would like a two stroker.
I have been told from £400 to £600 for the bike as it is.

its had new
clutch cable
rear tyre 400miles
speedo drive
spark plug, cap and ht lead
front brake pads 200 miles
chain sprockets 300 miles

Its overall good/ok condition my main problem with it is i have fallen off of it which put a crack in a faring and took a chunk out of both the front screen and a bit of side faring all in the picture.
It has done 12500 km i think i only can see km's under the dial not miles. there is small bits of rust on the odd bit but has treated some areas. the exhaust pipe also is rusty, the end can is from china not sure what it is but is louder than standered one but was cheaper when it needed a new exhaust system.

What do you guys think i would expect to get for it ?

Thanks alot

Rocky

The bike is a kymco styker 125 4stroke

What is it?

Pictures are too small to tell anything about the bike.

If it's Chinese, expect for YOU to have to pay someone to take it away!

Don't underestimate the price it will go for, particularly if you manage to be able to trade it in at a dealer. My friend had a Kymco Hipster which he bought for about £300, smashed it into the back of a Merc then traded it in at £600.

I've found dealers sometimes offer you a good price on your old bike because they're asking over the odds for the one they're selling you though, so beware if you go down that route.

How old is it? What reg? Aren't Kymco Korean? The engine in that bike now powers the Megelli range (god I'm so sad! Embarassed ).

If you want my advice don't mention the new plug leads/cap/clutch cable/speedo drive because it makes the bike sound unreliable and messed-with.

By all means mention new brakes, chain & sprockets and tyres but ONLY if they are still in excellent condition.

I would out it on eBay with a good description and very good pictures on a 10 day auction for 100 start and no reserve.
a cheap start will drum up alot of interest and you will probably get a message every day with an offer, £500 if your lucky but you can get a RS125 or Mito (few years old) for about £700 so wouldnt cross your fingers -

If you have cracked fairings it may also be worth looking about for prices and putting that info on the eBay listing

I think you will get about £350
