This is excellent.
I thought about the same thing but with a YZ 125, I thought the six speed may be useful on the road, apparently a wider powerband as well.
I then thought that the bike would be the main bike and I don't like doing too much maintenance all the time.
It may still be a viable thing for me in the future though when I can afford a toy bike, when it's done could you put up like a mini review type thing, how it copes with road use and green laning?

Prediction; on the road utterly hopeless. It'll be back on full knobblies as soon as MOT'd. Thats before we get into the tiny tank, 15hr ring changes & lack of indicators/lighting. Will also be pretty poor at sensible greenlaning too - its intended to be ridden flat out for 20mins at a time, and its two stroke so low end power is expected to be non-existant.
With that said, its noisy, the power delivery is very exciting, it weighs nothing. Full of character in other words! Totally impractical
My situation is thus - I live above work. I work from 8.30-6 monday to saturday, I've got the H100 to do shopping on and visit mates. The bike will live in the corner of the workshop, get dragged on a sunday, ragged round the lanes for a few hours and then put back in the workshop for another week. Might ride it to a track down in Maidstone and rag it round that for a few hours every so often - but it'll never see any real everyday use unless supermoto wheels pop up on E-bay
Will let you know if it lives up to expectations & take the DriftHD out with me when I run it ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

That's exactly what I expected it would be like, completely impractical and yet so much fun.
I rode a 2013 EXC125 which is slightly torquier for enduros, not that I noticed, and that thing was a monster when you revved it, it really took off.
If I got something like that, it would have to be a toy, extended road use would cost me an arm and a leg in pistons.

Not much to report. Waiting on parts...
Did get some of the graphics done though - the tank and the radiator cowls I want to do on the bike to make sure they're straight.

Its stored in the back of the workshop, attached to an abus chain, which is attached to a mammoth ground anchor bolted to the wall. The workshop has two cameras externally, a wall with spikes on top of most of it, a 6ft high gate. Then theres the internal cameras, selection of padlocks holding the shutters down, three locked doors (one with two key locks on it & a padlocked gate, one with a key lock, and the final one with a pin pad and a key lock). Opening the doors or shutter, even having a promo poster fall off the wall trips the motion sensors throughout the building, which calls the boss's home phone. We also pack all the low value bikes near the door & the stuff that cant be started/run - for all the hassle i've gotta be honest, i'd jack the 2014 ZX10-R in the showroom not a tatty 17 year old crosser
Takes me the best part of 20mins with practice to get it out - I work/live in a bike shop in the shittiest most ghetto bit of kent, so we've gotta have shit hot security. Perks of the job I guess...All the lanes are near me anyway, so i dont intend to let it out of my sight.
I got dis. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Perhaps they borrowed the offroader, and wanted to wash it before returning it?
Can think of a few ways to get shot of easily tracked road bikes. Round here theres always some shifty bike ringing nob that'll have anything clean & running for a few hundred quid. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Had problems with numberboard graphics. Backing wasn't right...
EDIT - Contacted Elite MX, explained my issue. The guy was incredibly helpful, I explained that as i'd had the issue on two panels and had applied the third already that i'd be more than happy to pay 1/3 of the price again in order to recive a complete replacement set rather than just the defective panels. He's getting another set made up for me & has no problems with replacing the complete set including the numbers which i'd already applied
Realy, really impressed with the service so i'll add a link to the guys ebay store as he's got a ton of offroad stuff on there.
https://stores.ebay.co.uk/elitemxquads/
However, today I did recive;
https://i.imgur.com/YZmWpp8.jpg
Upon contacting them they've confirmed there is no tax due, print it & give to DVLA as proof of tax paid and DVLA can look it up on the reference number.
Think I may suddenly have to put it all back together tonight & MOT it. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
