My first 'big' bike. Picked it up today, i'm amazed at how easy it is to ride!

Cheers guys.

It picks up very quickly and i'm only near the bottom of the rev range.
I think to myself that I can't be going too quick but when I look at the speedo i'm shocked!

The gear shift is noisy and it jumps a little into first but i'd describe it more as a 'reassuring' clunk Smile

The only problem I have is cars catching me up on corners.. I really need to practice cornering! Confused
Then as I get better and more confident get on an industrial estate and learn how to wheelie. Will it go up on the throttle alone?

I know the bike has loads more than I can give it and I think its going to be a great bike to learn on providing I respect it and behave Surprised

oww i'd say it will Smile just watch out, did wheelie on my 125, after just getting front up a bit did it again too many revs n flipped it :S not to worry Smile got my new baby today too Smile Suzuki SV650, pic in the bike pics forum

It will, but learn to clutch it up instead as it's more predictable and a lot slower start so you have more power to ride it out when learning...

p.s. just a quick tip, dont leave the padlock and chain lying on the floor, put any excess chain up over the seat so it cant be attacked with a sledge hammer Wink
