Wez,
I'm no great mechanic either, but i will try to descibe things for you. Although mine was a French import, so things may be slightly different on your bike. Who knows!

Right...
Under the tank, on the same side (and near to) your choke lever, you will find a plastic black cover flap thing.
Unclip this flap thing will expose a spaghetti of wires and connections. Gently pull them out so you can look through them. I cant exactly say where my restrictor wire was in all of the wirey mess, but have a look...

On my bike the restrictor wire was basically a loop of red and white wire about 1inch long, looping back on itself. It was plugged in with a red connector. (i wish i had a photo!!)
[The size and shape of it basically looked like one of the old-fashioned can ring-pulls!]
It looks wierd, as although most of the wires in there are going to places, this one is blatently looping back on itself!

If found, pull the damn thing out, and throw it away as far as you can!

Hope this sort of helps in the search
Confused I'm not very good at explaining things!

I have had a look nad i have two red and white wires one is slightly fatter than the other. How did u disconect the wire because all of mine seem to be goind into two connectors with about three or four other wires in. Don't really want to go snipping but i must get rid of this wire. Hope you reply soon!!!!

I dont think it is either of these two redandwhite wires, as they are joined by big connector blocks (and appear to be going somewhere). There should be another little redandwhite loop of wire, with its own connector in there somewhere.

Let me know if u stil cant find anything.
I'll be back online later.

It should be definately in there somewhere. There are loads of wires so make sure you look through them all well.
It was missed on my bike 1st time of looking. Confused

Have a look specifically for a multiplug with a red-and-white wire and a green wire going into it. And coming out of it should be this little loop of the red-and-white wire.

Dont start cutting radom wires if you are unsure. If you do find it, it should be obvious to you that it is the right one!
This particular red-and-white wire comes out of the connector, and after about 1inch of wire, it goes back on itself into the same connector again!

It is ashame Hibby isnt registered, so you cant private message him too. It would be interesting to see if this 'loop-of-wire thing' was the same on his bike.

GoodLuck Wez! Wink Tell me how you get on.
