I had my restrictors out recently then took my bike for an 8000 mile service. Since I've had it back after 40 miles or so the bike starts to feel sloppy, not smooth at all and crap to ride! Next day starts off fine then same thing happens.

I have checked all 4 plugs and they look fine (brown is the right colour I believe?)

Bit annoyed as I have just splashed out 160 notes on a service! What can I do to keep it feeling smooth? Thumbs Up

Sounds like to me a fueling issue, maybe the carbs weren't put back right when the restrictors came out.

Have you checked your air filter recently too, or was it changed in the service?

I don't think the air filter was changed, I will check tomorrow.

I looked as well as I could at the carbs and they seem to be connected fine with none of the rubbers folded inside.

So if its a fuelling issue how do I resolve it? Thanks.

Have you spoke to the people that did the work yet?

Yes, take it straight back to them. £160 is a lot of money for a service and derestriction.
Sounds like the carburation has not been adjusted correctly after the restrictor washers were removed, you could possible have an airleak in one or more inlets, does the engine seem to be getting hotter than before?
