Put really you gotta take loads of things into consideration, right now I am tired, in low light and I have a cold, so my reactions will be suffering a bit.

Also note that you are prepared for something to happen here, on the road you wouldn't expect it so expect reaction times to double at least.

I agree with fastTZR. On the game you don't get the natural instinct that almost takes over. I would say I would deffinately react quicker in a real life situation.

I find things like this a bit silly really, as they're not the same sort of reaction that you get when responding to a situation on the road.

In this test, you know something's going to happen, and have your concious mind waiting to react to it.
On the road, you have no idea something's going to happen, and it is your subconcious mind that reacts to it. (maybe not subconcious, but you know what i mean - it's not your active mind, more of a reflex). And this is a faster reaction.

In this test your mind says "click now" and your fingers don't seem to be able to move fast enough. Whereas after reacting to something on the road, I often find that I've hit the brakes before my mind says "whoa, lets slow down".
