Email I just got wrote:
Always fancied yourself as the next Valentino Rossi? Want to start doing track days but don’t know where to start? Or even if you just want to plod around a track. Marriott's have the answer! On Wednesday 2nd August we will be running a trip to the Haslam Race School around the Moto GP Circuit at Donington Park. This is a chance to see Donington Park from the eyes of a rider.

For only £270 we will provide a coach there and back along with a few beers and a bite to eat in the hospitality suit afterwards. So you can chill out and watch the afternoon session from Redgate corner. All equipment is provided and you don’t even need to have a licence, just able to handle a geared bike!

Just incase anyone was interested. Sounds like a laugh.

Fairly reasonable I thought, considering it includes coach to/from the place, a bike, insurance and a drink and some nibbles or whatever.

I guess thats why they're charging £21 more than Ron Haslam do themselves, btw insurance is already included Wink

Hmmn actually, if they're just talking about using 'geared' bikes as above, they are charging a £111 premium over the normal price. Expensive nibbles.

why how much is it normally for the day? and when it says geared bike what does that actually mean we'll give you a geared 50 or a pretty decent 600/1000?
ive not really looked into it but heard good things about haslam race school.
no idea if this is a good deal or not.

Just thought I'd share it with people who aren't on Marriot's email list.

It seems quite a good deal, especially with coach included.

Sounds good, but i'd rather do a honda Moto X day. Something like £150 for a day or pratting around on a crosser track, no lisence needed.

Still, wouldn't mind doing it.
