For those of you who dont know Sadie had an idea of a tescos logo on a white helmet so i offered to do one with an airbrush kit, then someone beat me to it with red+blue markers........but all my stuff arrived today so ive started mine Mr. Green

Wont be done for a while got to buy vinyl stencils to get the lettering spot on i dont want to have wiggly lettering also got to laquer/clearcoat it and give it a good ol' buff up to make it all glossy

Why are you making such a good job of it...?

I dont understand /why/ there is so much money/time/effort going into it...

Its not like the helmet can ever be used again...

Yea but that wouldnt be as fun and so far its only cost £40 expect vinyl to be no more than £20 but i now own a airbrush kit wich will get used qite a lot i imagine

Can always Ebay it as a "Tesco Race Rep" and forge Haydens signature onto it

It was something he planned on doing anyway because he has plans on eventually doing a custom job on his bike so a helmet is something good to build up the skills needed.

If it needs to look profesional you need to use the right gear and i dont see the point in making it look all daggy and crap with a £1 tin of spray that will just rot the helmet.

Any way few more coats on it now its getting there
