on the private road/track of course...

what's the fastest you've pootled on your machine? Has anyone 'not' wound it up all the way?

I've never had a machine that hasnt had it's neck wrung.

Had to back off at indicated 150mph because of the side winds today, hoping to get a good run some time soon when conditions are a bit better.

And aren't we supposed to have the "I h8 chavs" monthly topic before the "Ur top speed?" monthly topic?

Well use the fecking search function:

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=38352

Jeebus H Fecking Xrist on a crutch, you could set your clocks by these dull, repetetive topics...

I've done 155mph uphill and 160mph on the flat. Neither were flat out (infact, both were in 4th/5th gear respectively)

Yes I did bottle it.

Something wrong with her speedo then!! my transit struggles with 80 down a hill... our new Fiat Bravo 2.5TD's probably won't go much over a 100 .. unless it was one of the newer transits, big engine and probably turboed... with an empty load, might have a chance then.. I might be wrong, just going by experience of the vans I've driven and none of them liked going fast Laughing
