Bummer I guess, I liked that one too Wink.

Oh well, I'll go pick one up from there later, and then take it back and complain if I don't like it Wink.

Thanks for your help. Karma

Sidelamps are totally useless anyway, so if the price is right then get it. If you really wanted to fit a sidelamp then you could so merely by drilling a hole through the reflector and sticking in the lamp off your old headlamp unit.

And on another note, my license came back in the post today Mr. Green.

It's only £24.99 so I'll go and buy one later. Cheers everyone, pint for all!

Should just b a case of taking the connector off your old unit and plug it onto the new one. I'm sure you'll manage. Thumbs Up

er if your bike has a pilot light anyway rigging it up to a headlamp sans pilot light is easy anyway , it just hangs instead of being in a flush fitting which is solved by blu tack on the inside of the lamp.

you don't need a side light by law anyway or for MOT, so disconnect it or remove the bulb if you want Thumbs Up

Usefull for a mobile or anything small and electronic really (off a car charger addapter obviously) possibly even heated grips via a relay, better than cuting the ignition wire for a switched live feed..

Trouble is once you start fiting gadgets it gets difficult to stop Laughing

Rolling Eyes I know...

I finally managed to get off that bandwagon.

Admittedly it was a little late, and the reason for stopping was because the rest of the bike was (and still is) failing, but still.

Think the 3 pot cigarette lighter with a LED Accent light for my clock and a nokia phone charger was probably the limits Laughing

Im glad i didnt go any further than that... although im getting interested in getting into it all again now im going on a "tour" of such in a months time Cool
