Why on earth is it listed at £2,005?

I don't get it. It lacks a lot of the features of other scooters and mopeds, yet can cost a good £800 more than some. How can Honda justify selling it at this price?

I always see one in the flesh at a local dealer's. If I had the money, I'd love to have one as they look like a right laugh! But at that price...

Is it a concept one-of-a-kind thing?

Because it's 'cool'.

As in media cool. As in it will appeal to people who wear those Momo Design open face helmets and ponce around Hoxton being 'edgy'.

....and maybe because its 'cool' the type of people that will buy it know nothing about bikes or scooters, so 2 grand sounds cheap. Isn't the space under the seat designed to carry a skateboard? Smile Rolling Eyes

Zoomers have a bit of a cult following in the states and japan, however not many people buy them over here. Plus you are paying for the fact that its a Honda which makes it more expensive.

I heard about the ones in Japan, but I'm suprised that there are American ones as well.

they had them in the local dealership when I was over in the US and that was more than 2 years ago now. Didn't see many about mind, scooters were used pretty much exclusively by students, so dirt cheap ugly ones were the norm.
