The practical test is about 40 minutes long.

40 minutes MAX longer if it is a retest,

It can go over a tiny bit but theres this story my intructor loved to tell me that the examiner had his pan in for servicing , so he bought along a VW golf , and the test proceeded as normal.

A few minutes into the test he was pulled by cops , them asking why he was on a bandit 600 with L plates on his own (need a DAS instructor) , the examiner had been stuck in traffic behind a fair bit and arrived a couple minutes later , he got out and it took ages to explain to the cops who let them on their way, reducing his 40 minute test to a 12 minute run.

When I did mine (the second time), the instructor got stuck behind traffic for half of the test so I just cruised along Cool

well been and done, went ok, U turns are getting easier, starting to do lifesavers more regualry and mirrors when changing speedlimits etc ect so all good Smile

When i done the cbt, it was 3 hours on the road, and that flew by!

Bet it seems like you sit on the bike, then get off!!

On the subject, Whats involved in the practical test( das)

had a go on my 650 before my das started so was ok with the difference in speed.

Well the fella i was trainging with done his test today and passed with 6 minors 4 of which were hesitation at give way signs.... but he usually fluffs u turns but he did his spot on, hope i do mine fine as i ahve been nailing them all day today.....

his instructor followed in car, but mine in th morning uses his bike :s
Well this will be my last post as a Learner cos as of tomorrow i WILL have my full licence by half 9 Smile
